RIPPLE : AARATI SINGH THAKURI
Working on the School_ERP project has been a valuable learning experience for me. This was a group project, and I joined it two to three weeks after it had already started. Initially, I felt a little nervous because I had missed the early planning and setup phases.
However, I was soon assigned tasks related to the UI of the Applicant List and Applicant Details pages. At first, it took me some time to fully understand the flow of the project. Thankfully, my teammates were very supportive. They explained the project structure clearly and guided me patiently whenever I needed help. Once I started working on the frontend tasks, I realized there was a lot to learn. I worked on building user interfaces that were clean, responsive, and easy to navigate. Through this, I became more familiar with frontend concepts such as component structuring, styling using CSS frameworks, managing props and state, and maintaining consistency with the overall design system.
Sometimes I got confused, even with small things like file structure, naming conventions, or how components were organized. However, my team was always there to help me and encourage me to keep improving. This project made me realize how much detail and effort go into creating a professional user interface. I learned the importance of focusing on user experience by ensuring that the interfaces are not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and functional. Most importantly, the School_ERP project taught me how valuable teamwork is in software development.
It was my first experience working in a team, and I understood how important it is to communicate openly, ask questions, and support each other to achieve common goals. Overall, this project has helped me gain more confidence in frontend development and UI design. It has also shown me the real value of collaboration and mutual support in a development environment. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and for all the lessons I have learned throughout the journey.
